Ingredients

1 Tbsp of neutral oil

½ lb of Salmon fillet

2 Tbsp of Paro Tarka

Lime (optional)

Salt & Pepper

Tarka Crusted Salmon

METHOD

        Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Pat your salmon dry and sprinkle salt and pepper all over. Spread Tarka over the top surface of the salmon with the back of a spoon or knife.

        Heat a cast iron skillet, or other oven safe skillet, over high heat and add neutral oil

        Once the oil is shimmering, lay salmon down so that the tarka side is facing you and doesn’t touch the pan. Lower heat to medium. Cook without touching or shifting salmon until you see the bottom edge begin to brown and see the bottom of the fish start to turn opaque, about 3 minutes.

        Transfer the pan to the oven for 7-10 minutes. Remove once fish is cooked through and serve with a squeeze of lime.
